TIGEC is a Hong Kong-based sourcing and industrial matchmaking firm. We support Western companies — SMEs, brands, industrial buyers and project teams — in identifying and engaging reliable manufacturing and subcontracting partners across Asia.
We are not a trading intermediary or a logistics facilitator. Our role is to bring informed sourcing judgement to the selection process: identifying which companies exist, which are credible, and which are genuinely suited to a specific industrial brief.
We are based in Hong Kong by design. The city gives us direct access to Asia's industrial ecosystem while offering the legal and commercial clarity expected in international business. It keeps us close to the market while allowing us to work fully in step with the standards and expectations of our Western clients.
The companies that work with TIGEC typically face one of several challenges: they are entering Asian sourcing for the first time and need guidance, they have been burned by unsuitable partners in the past, or they have a specific and technically demanding brief that requires deep research rather than directory browsing. In every case, our role is the same — to find the right company, not the first available one.
TIGEC operates on a mandate-by-mandate basis. We do not maintain a fixed supplier database that we simply search. We conduct active research tailored to each client's specific requirements — which means the companies we identify are found for a reason, not retrieved at random.
